RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT New Instruments and Approaches Having research science as part of my background, I have a natural curiosity about the fundamental nature of paranormal phenomenon, and whether they can be measured. I don't have great confidence that spiritual phenomenon will be measurable or detectable on a reliable basis, but the exploration of the possibility informs my thinking. The most promising work I've been doing is with engineers from Princeton's PEAR laboratory. For the last few years, I've been working with them to help prototype and de-bug software and hardware that was the basis for the Global Consciousness Project (http://noosphere.princeton.edu/). The work essentially looks at probability and correlation between random number generators. These will be made available to the public in the near future, at which time I'll provide contact information to interested parties. Preliminary testing that was done with John Zaffis, Chris Flemming, Patrick Burns, and RoseMary Ellen Guily was very successful. The other long-term goal I have is the development of an EMF meter array in order to form iso-lines of EMF and detect the movement of an EMF anomaly through a field of detectors instead of moving a single detector around a location. Psychological Testing I am approved to possess and administer a number of psychological tests. Collecting data on clients and victims of possession, both pre- and post-exorcism, may provide useful data on the effects of possession and exorcism.
